Located in the front right corner of the University General Assembly Hall and containing: 1. Exhibition Hall One,
located on the second floor, provides a collection of antique materials of the Tai Khrang group which migrated to the lower northern region of Thailand from Laos during the reign of Rama
III. Methods employed in the production of textiles in former days are still used in the present by descendants of these groups.
2. Information Service Center, located next to Exhibition Hall 1, gives information about the
background and production of textiles in various forms: leaflets, articles of research, internet access and CD-ROM.
 3. The Chitralada Museum has on display various costomes worn by Her Majesty the
Queen which have been donated by the Palace, along with a display of Thai silk and Thai cotton products from the Chitralada Shop Project. 4. Exhibition Hall 2,
located in the other wing of the second floor, has on display textiles from different regions rotated on a regular basis. Appreciation of this specific aspect of Thai culture and to assist in
preserving national identity. 5. To provide a center for tourism and information service on
traditional Thai products for tourists visiting the nothern region of Thailand.
Souvenirs and gifts:
In cooperation with outside organizations, the Textile Museum provides souvenirs made from both cotton and silk from groups throughout the country, as well as souvenirs from the university itself.
